Time to Sow Seeds

Most commercial propagators of our delphiniums sow our seeds between July and September to give them great plants for sale in the spring. It is also a great time for home gardeners to sow too. Plant the seeds in flats now and pot them into small pots before winter bites. Grown them cool over winter under protection and you’ll have fantastic plants in early spring and great flowers for summer. We ship seed on Mondays anywhere in the world so you can expect delivery the following week.
Our New Millennium Delphinium varieties generally have germination rates over 80% - some even over 90%. This is extremely high for hybrid delphiniums and ensures you have plenty of plants to choose from. Full growing instructions come with our seed and these are also available on our website here.
