| Cecil Hansen, in Stanwood, WA, USA. bought seed from us a few years ago and has kept us updated since with his progress in breeding from our seed : |
| "The New Millenniums are still new over here. I started with 80 plants, with a plan to reduce to 30 that I like. I am limited in bed space, so any gal I keep will have to be an impressive double. Then, I plan to clone them and make sure every friend & relative has them in their yard. Five of them that are just now opening up are the light blues with the striped bees. New to me and exciting, but probably weeds at your place. The one in the photo, I started in August. Then I kept her under lights all winter. About half of my collection was started with her, and are showing their colours right now. The other half are later, and starting to send up spikes. So, while I am culling out those to be banished, I will have constant colours, all Summer & Fall ----- " |

With a handful of seeds from Dowdeswell this is what ya get. |

| How rare is this gal? This is her 2nd year, so I guess she is for real. She didn't get to bloom last year. A dog chased a racoon and broke off her spike. She is in a container, so I feel she is stunted. I had her potted for market, but I will keep her, and put her in the ground. |
 |
| This one I named, GREAT WHITE HOPE. It seems to be the same as your INNOCENCE. It gets 7 feet tall, and her stalks are over an inch in dia. Plus, the large florets. I use her a lot for crossing. Hoping to breed her huskiness. |

| Have you guys ever seen a blue delphie like this? I have gone through a lot of books, but have never seen her before. Do you have one like her? Mine is from your seeds. She is also a giant. 7 1/2 feet |
| This is what I have to look at from my window. What an eyesore. And, this is just the Western third of the palace. Next year I will put more pinks in this section so it won't be so boring. |

| Hey Terry & Janice, Hope you are having a great season. We are thawing out, and surveying the damage from a CANADIAN cold front from Alberta. Thanks a lot. So far, I don't think I lost any plants. But, we had been having unusual warm weather, so I had spikes about 12 inches. The ones I didn't cover, were hit hard, so will have to start over. I had several protected, and they are looking healthy. This new double had it's second bloom last summer when I took this pic. Do you have her? Seeing how it is the second bloom, I am thinking she is for real. If she turns out okay, I will take some clones this fall. |
