| Vallerie Powell in Northern British Columbia, Canada writes: "I ordered your seed a year or two ago, and had great results. I live in Northern British Columbia, Canada Zone 2 (that is a hardiness scale) It drops to 30 C below here, every winter and sometimes colder, so your plants, so far, have shown great hardiness. Winter sets in about Nov. 1st and we have snow from then on until about April 15th, perennials begin to immerge about the first week or so of May, depending on their location in the garden. When spring does finally get here plants grow very quickly, not so much because of the heat, but because of the very long daylight. By June there is only about three hours of actual dark from about 11:00 at night until about 2:00 in the morning, with a few hours of dusk leading up. I am enclosing a picture of one of your plants taken summer of
2007. " |
